By way of background, we became aware of Paul Birdsall's "Streamline Funnel System" a week or so ago. During pre-launch, it cost only $9.95 to get access to 10,000 leads. I believe that deal still holds, at least for the moment.
At 1/10th of cent per lead, this sounded like an incredible deal, so we jumped on it. After all, Paul was offering a guarantee. And in the great cosmic scheme of things, what's $10 on a flyer? I mean, John and I have gambled hundreds and even thousands on flyers before. Compared to outrageous abortions like The Arbitrage Conspiracy (over $2000), this was "a nothing." It seemed like a total "no brainer."
From what little I know about Mr. Birdsall, he is a super-successful Shaklee guy (Shaklee being one of the oldest extant MLMs in the world). He mentions in passing in one of the Streamline Funnel System vids that he's a multi-millionaire, and claims his best year was something on the order of 3.5 million dollars (if I remember correctly). Anyway, that's all well within the realm of possibility for a "big time" MLMer. I don't know how long Paul has been doing Shacklee et al, but he has had glowing video testimonials from friends and collegues he has worked with in the past, and with whom he has been working the beta tests of Streamline Funnel System.
Paul has reportedly spent nearly $100,000 dollars on developing his revolutionary lead capture software, which supposedly finds and qualifies millions of prospects automatically. Now, I have not been privy to this "miracle" software. From what I understand, few have. To by cynical, it simply sounds as if Paul has created a massive lead generation system, similar to what some of the "big guns" (Rachel Long, Jane Marks, Mike Glaspie, etc.) use to put hundreds and even thousands of people into their downlines every month. However, Paul makes it seem much more sophisticated and software-driven than this, and for all I know it could well be. At this point in time, I'll give him the benefit of the doubt and accept his characterization that the software is "revolutionary." As far as I'm concerned, I don't care how he's getting the leads, so long as they do what they're supposed to do. That being, make us money!
Don't call me greedy. We're all in business to make money. Call me eminently practical.
